220 J Coleman Lantern

220 J Coleman Lanterns

As a kid I remember times when our power would go out and we would heat the front room of the house with the fireplace and use the light of these lanterns to play board games. To me, the sound of these @colemanusa lanterns instantly takes me back to fun family times camping or gathering around the fireplace with no power. First introduced by Coleman Company in 1914, these particular lamps were manufactured sometime between 1975-1979, and use Kerosene, gasoline, or Coleman Fuel to illuminate a double mantle. The glass on these was made by @pyrexhome for @colemanusa. Over the years more than 50 million of these lanterns were sold and many of them are still in operation today. They will always mark the eternal sound of a good time with my dad in the outdoors, and will continue be used for years to come.
